Pollution Pandemic - Taking Environmental Awareness Beyond the Classroom
Updated: Aug 6

The fifth day of the Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange project "Pollution Pandemic" (Project Code: 2025-1-RO01-KA152-YOU-000299532) brought participants directly into the local community, transforming learning into public engagement and environmental advocacy.
Under the coordination of the Green Empowerment Association, participants organized the "Park Poster Exhibition," where they presented their educational posters to local residents, conducted interviews, and encouraged conversations about the health risks of air pollution. The exhibition allowed participants to practice public communication while raising awareness among community members about the importance of environmental protection.
The day also featured "Pop the Balloon!", an interactive quiz competition that reviewed the knowledge gained throughout the project in an enjoyable and dynamic way. Participants demonstrated their understanding of air pollution, indoor and outdoor environmental challenges, and sustainable practices while strengthening friendships and intercultural cooperation. These activities reflected the project's commitment to combining non-formal education with active community participation.🤝
